Albany County Criminal and Civil Records
Record seekers can find criminal and civil court records at the Albany County District and Circuit Courts. The District Court hears explicitly felony criminal and civil cases over $50,000, while the Circuit Court hears misdemeanors and civil cases below $50,000. Copies of these cases are available in person at the Albany Clerk of Court's Office. The Office processes certified copies of birth and death records within three to five working days. Individuals can obtain uncertified copies of records at the Wyoming State Archives.
Albany County Property Records
Albany County property record custodians are happy to provide members of the public with records on file about any property in the county. Customers can visit the Assessor, Treasurer, and County Clerk's Office from Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., to obtain copies of property records. Photocopies of property records cost $0.25 per page, and certified copies cost $5.25 per document. Full-size copies of plats and surveys (24 "x36") cost $5.00 each. These record custodians also have online portals where individuals can view property records. For example:
- The Albany County Clerk's Office runs two websites (ArcaSearch and iDocMarket) on which users can find recorded documents from October 1997.
